Sheron Cardin's Input...: I found a new gadget you might like.

I have been an interior designer for over 27 years and I have always taught my clients the principles I used while decorating their home so they may enjoy decorating too. The home staging trend in residential real estate is a great way to reach more people every day and what I enjoy the most is they are learning the basics of good design through staging. It is my dream for every person to know the joy and pride of living in a decorated home.

I found a new gadget you might like.

It is this little blue square that appears at the end of every possible link in any window and you can preview what is behind that link without ever clicking on it. It makes browsing so much easier and my tab bar at the bottom of my screen is still clear.

It is called CoolIris and it is absolutely free. You can stack up your windows, go back, email, etc. There is another really great tool for pictures on the same link called PicLens.

Terry- and you didn't share??? Come on, what else do you have that we don't...

Vicki - yes...speeds things up!

Joan - you are welcome...just passing on the good finds.

Karen - real easy to download. Do you use Firefox? Love Firefox.

Dear Sheron...do you know why this only works with Firefox? What would happen if you used it but your viewer was using Explorer?

Mr. Technologically Challenged

Dear Mr. Technologically Challenged, it is your lucky day! When you download the program, they actually give you the option for IE. My question is "why on earth are you using IE?"
Posted by Sheron Cardin, ARTIST - A Home Stager/Sellers Best Friend! (California Moods Inc) about 12 years ago
Oh I don't know....possibly my intense love and admiration for all things that are created by Bill Gates and Microsoft......or could be I am just stupid and as Ron White is so fond of saying " You can't fix stupid"
Posted by James Frazier (James Frazier Personal Development Coach) about 12 years ago
James - not that I have heard your Southern drawl, your quotes have new meaning. Bill Gates is my hero and he lives right across the lake from my sister...I'm always gawking...but come on, this is business!

Are you calling me..OK I was being  facetious about Bill Gates and Microsoft. I pull my hair out on a daily basis over those two enities. Lucky for me I have lots of hair but at this rate I'll be bald prematurely.
Posted by James Frazier (James Frazier Personal Development Coach) about 12 years ago
Yes I was calling you! You still haven't answered my question. Save your hair and move over to Mozilla/Firefox.

I have to tell you all that I just love my Cooliris tool. The little blue square shows up at the end of every link, you move your mouse to it and the window opens up without having to click. LOVE IT!

Note to Sheron: Have now switched to Firefox..self esteem much improved and feeling of closeness to the computer savvy group now much deeper and more meaningful. Thansk to you.....

James - we're even then as I owe the tickle in my stomach to you.

Bill and/or Barbara Jo - How is it down there in Florida? Does it get miserably humid this time of year? I love the little blue box and you will too.

I absolutely love Cooliris! It really does save time and clicks and opens any link just by scrolling over the blue square that appears. Anyone else really using it?
