You know what is really great about the opportunity for the winner, besides the great prizes? They can write press releases that show that these 3 well known celebrities picked their work! That could really be worked into great PR.

The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) is very proud to announce the launch of the very first STAGER IDOL competition for Professional Home Stagers, the property merchandising arm of the Real Estate Industry.
With celebrity judges Ann Maurice; the House Doctor, Stephanie McWilliams with the HGTV hit show Fun Shui, Margi Kyle of TV’s Desperate Designs fame and cash and prizes totaling over $12,000, it is sure to be a big success!
Stockton, CA, January 17, 2008: Beginning January 15, 2008, all professional home stagers in North America are invited to audition for the coveted title of STAGER IDOL. If you would like to participate in this competition, please visit www.stageridol.com for all the information to enter. To qualify, you must be a professional home stager/merchandiser with before and after pictures of rooms/homes you have staged whether vacant or occupied. These rooms/homes will be voted on by the general public and the finalists will have one-on-one interviews with the celebrity judges. The winner of the worlds first STAGER IDOL will be announced on May 28, 2008
The deadline to submit before and after photos of staged rooms is February 10th. Public voting will take place from February 11th through the 17th. For more information on how you can enter, visit the Stager Idol web site and click on ‘How it works’.
