Sheron Cardin's Input...: Were you searching for your baby too?

I have been an interior designer for over 27 years and I have always taught my clients the principles I used while decorating their home so they may enjoy decorating too. The home staging trend in residential real estate is a great way to reach more people every day and what I enjoy the most is they are learning the basics of good design through staging. It is my dream for every person to know the joy and pride of living in a decorated home.

Were you searching for your baby too?

Sometimes years can go by without ever remembering someone or something until.........until that one song comes on and fills the room like this one. Time stands still and all I can do is crank the volume up and sing as loud as I can. See if it happens to you!

Namaste

Sheron, I don't know this song!  It's funny, I heard "The Bosa Nova" last night and while I remember there was a dance called that I didn't know it either.  I think I'm glad :)

Sheron...I have to say, I barely know this one either.  Seems like I might know it by another group?  The words seem familiar but this rendition doesn't sound right????   Is this the original group?

So how does the sun feel?   (-:

Carole and Ginger - you may not know this song but it is the original by Bobby Moore. My husband was 6 years older than I so that may be why I relate to the earliest of oldies. After you listen to the video, click on some of the others there...very very old.

Sheron, I must be the oldest one here.  I remember that song.  I can't believe Carole doesn't remember the bosa nova.  It certainly wasn't popular that long ago :-)

Sheron, i know a lot of Doo Wop, but I never heard this song. Sometimes songs are regional hits,, where did you grow up?

THANK YOU TERRY!!! I was feeling awfully lonely :) Guess we can 'blame it on the bosa nova'!

Ginger - I am assuming it is you Ginger...I grew up in LA with Wolfman Jack, cruised the Sunset Strip on Saturday nights, and ate Bob's Big Boy cheeseburgers and drank vanilla cokes. Where did you?

Sher, yeap baby, wolfman...that was it.  Friday nights was Van Nuys Blvd and either the Van Nuys or Sepulveda BOBS  after the football games and Sat. Night was Sunset and Hollywood, especially if on a date.  Vanilla cokes yes, not cherry cokes.

Ginger - I cannot believe we did not run into each other...I swear. Too bad the Bob's in Fresno just closed last year...we could have shared T&S with our fries!

Sheron, we probably have crossed paths on the blvd or at the drive in but those foggy windows would have prevented us knowing that we each were there. (-:

Searching For My Love by Bobby Moore & The Rhythm Aces

#DebutChart
27Jun '66Hot 100

1966 Genre: Soul

Searching, searching for my baby
Yes, I am
Searching, searching for my baby
Yes, I am

Searching, searching for my baby
I'm searching, searching for my love
I'm searching for the one I adore
If I find her, you know I will

I'll never, never let her go
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
I'll never, never let her go now, baby

I love you, I need you
I need you by my side
For my love, for my true love
Ill never, never never hide now, baby
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
I'll never, never, never hide, no, no

I wonder, I wonder why
You had to leave me this way
I'm sorry, darling,
That I made you cry

Forgive me, love, for the
Things I've done to you
Come along, come along
Come along, give me one more try

Searching, baby
I'm searching, searching for my love
I'm searching for the one I adore
And if I find her

I'll never, never let her go
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
(Searching, searching for my baby)
I'll never, never let her go (yes, I am)
(Searching, searching for my baby)
Make it, make it on my own
(Searching, searching for my baby)
I get so lonely sometimes

WOW Larry. I am never quite sure what some songs say...and maybe don't want to know...thank you so much for putting the lyrics up. Do you remember the song? Can't wait to see what else you bring to American Bandstand!

Yes, I remember the song.
The only song by this artist to chart in the top 40.
