Are these fresh or fake?  They are beautiful.  Do you make them yourself?

How Beth said fresh or fake and do yo offer them?

They are silk...I cannot remember where I got these photo's but what I do is copy the arrangements. I am so lousy at it because I don't have the patience to put arrangements together.

If you really like them, print them out and take them with you to Michaels (or whom ever your source is) and have them pull the pieces that you would need to make them yourself...better yet, maybe they will put the arrangements together for you as a courtesy. I would have potpourri at the base of the plant for fragrance.

Leaving a beautiful bouquet as your thank you gift to your clients will bring you years of compliments and new business too.

Sheron-I have a 25 year long background in floral designing. I always make all my silk or fresh floral arrangements, and you are right flowers can be used as a focal point. Here is a silk arrangement that I designed for the foyer of a home I recently staged.

Barbara - that is a stand alone beauty! It could be sitting on a box and no one would notice. Lovely!

I wish I had your talent. I was at a party recently and the hostess assumed since I am an interior designer that I knew what to do with the flowers that were given to her. I spread them around in the vase after cutting the stems and it looked just like it did when it had the rubber band around it...just wider :( I know what to do...I have watched it done a gazillion times, but when I begin I get very bored and hurried. I can copy anything though like these arrangements.

Thank you.  They look incredible.  I'm just learning to make arrangements and this looks a little beyond me, but I'll keep working on it.

Sheron BFF, the only way I can make floral arrangements that use more than one flower, is to see one I like, take a picture,  then walk the store gathering the same ingredients, and assemble at home.  I always admired people who could arrange flowers.

Barbara, that is stunning!  I'll print that one out, too, if you don't mind.

Hey there BFF,  I am going to copy these and recreate.  Here's a similar one that I have in a staged house in Oakhurst. Everybody has to touch it to see if it's real.

Those flowers look so nice, especially since I'm still seeing snow outside my window!  I am sooo ready for Spring!

Sharon - the good news is it is coming...we didn't even get a frost warning this year in central California. Of course I used to live in Denver so I know how tired looking at white snow gets. Go make an arrangement!

Terry - I am with you on that one...where is our floral expert James???

Ginger - that arrangement is just darling.

I too am ready for spring and this post is timed perfectly.  I love flowers and love getting as creative as possible.  The idea to print them and bring them with you to the store is a wonderful idea.  Off to print.

I love your arrangements Sheron!  Spring has sprung!!  I was so ready!!  I try to repeat the flowers that are in my artwork in my rooms.  This photo may be taken too far back to show this example.....

Those are lovely and would really bring a room to life.  Never underestimate the power of flowers!

Kathy - good timing is a wonderful thing :)

Cathy - I have 2 live orchids and I worry about them as if they are going to die. I don't like the experience. As soon as they turn brown and end up with just a stick to look at, I am ordering some beautiful silk orchids from our silk plant source for RESA members. We get 20% off and free shipping. I don't have much space for plants and orchids are the slim solution. Thanks for the picture. (I was just in Danville last week)

A great source for pre-made is Sullivan's .  You'll need a tax I.D. number but their selection is fabulous, and they come to your home with samples.

The other source is N.D.I.  Natural Decorations Inc. , you may have seen their ads in Architectural Digest, and Veranda.  Again, it's a wholesale company so you'll need your tax I.D. but their catalogues are a great source for inspiration, and the product that they sell is very attractive (but pricey).

Also, a great source for accessories and vases is CBK, They're always a step ahead, and they've always got something on clearance.  Contact them to develop a relationship with your neighborhood CBK representative.

I am going to take a shot in the dark and say 'thank you Katy' for the links. (I apologize if this is Tom) It is always nice to have options and new resources. One never knows what one will need in the furute!

Note: if anyone clicks on the links above, a new window does not open so you will need to hit the back arrow to return to AR.

Those floral arrangements are very pretty, Sheron.  I, too, will confess to copying them as I don't have the patience to experiment and create them.
